- Integrate at Board level, environmental impact appraisals and company environmental targets into relevant business decisions.
- Continually improve environmental performance and systems through board level company objectives.
- Take effective action to prevent pollution or reduce any potential for pollution.
- Comply with current environmental legislation and forward plan where possible to meet future legislative requirements ahead of statutory deadlines.
- Seek to eliminate or minimise waste and optimise use of materials, as far as is commercially and environmentally practicable.
